Building Homes, Communities and Hope with Habitat
Graybar employees across the country are teaming up to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Check out their stories below.
This past summer, seven employees from Jacksonville worked on a community service project with the HabiJax Habitat for Humanity Jacksonville Construction Team. The employees put in a total of 56 hours on the project. More employees are excited to participate this fall.
Since 2018, Hudson Valley employees have been working with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and the Newburgh Community Land Bank to help revitalize Williams Street in the City of Newburgh, the most distressed urban area in New York State.
In June, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh dedicated one of the houses employees have been helping renovate.
In August, members of Graybar Portland spent the day assisting a house build in Limerick, Maine, with Habitat for Humanity York County.
In September, a group of Orlando employees volunteered for Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. The employees helped to get the houses move-in ready by cleaning, hanging closet doors, laying sod and various other jobs.
